Welcome to BigLife Entertainment

Welcome to BigLife Entertainment (“BigLife,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We are a ticketing, registration, and marketing platform. Our mission is to create better event experiences for attendees and organizers by providing industry-leading ticketing, marketing, and event commerce tools.

Scope of Services

BigLife’s products, features, and offerings are available (a) online through various BigLife properties, including our website big-life.org; (b) off-platform, including (without limitation) entry management, sponsorship, and marketing or distribution services; and (c) through mobile applications, webpages, APIs, and subdomains (collectively, the “Applications”). These are collectively referred to as the “Services.”

Who’s Who

When this Privacy Policy uses the term “Organizer,” we mean event creators using the Services to create events for consumers using our Services (a) to consume information about, or attend, events (“Consumers”), or (b) for any other reason. Organizers, Consumers, and third parties using our Services are collectively “Users,” “you,” or “your.”

Application of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and retain information that can be associated with or relates to a person and/or could be used to identify a person (“Personal Data”). We take your privacy seriously. Please read this policy carefully; it contains important information about your Personal Data and other information.

Non-Personal Data” is any information that does not relate to a person and cannot be used to identify a person. We may collect Non-Personal Data when you interact with the Services. The limitations in this policy regarding collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and retention of Personal Data do not apply to Non-Personal Data.

Personal Data We Collect

Information Collected from All Users

Information you provide: We collect Personal Data you voluntarily provide, for example when you register, contact support, respond to a survey, or use certain parts of the Services. This may include your name, address, email, and other information you choose to provide.

Information collected automatically: We automatically collect certain technical data sent by your device or browser (“Automatic Data”), such as IP address, device/browser characteristics, statistics about your activity on the Services, referrers, and data collected through Cookies, Pixel Tags, Local Shared Objects, Web Storage, and similar technologies.

Where we associate Non-Personal Data with Personal Data (including data from third parties), we treat the combined dataset as Personal Data until it can no longer be associated with you.

Additional Information from Organizers

Information you provide: If you use our payment processing services, we may collect financial details (e.g., bank account, payout address, tax ID) and, in some cases, card data to facilitate payments and comply with tax/legal obligations.

Information from other sources: We may obtain contact or financial verification data from banks, payment partners, credit agencies, or marketing partners.

Additional Information from Consumers

If you register for a paid event, you may provide payment information (e.g., card number, expiration date, billing address). Organizers can configure registration forms to collect additional information; BigLife does not control each Organizer’s form fields. When you register for an Organizer’s event or provide information related to their activity, that Organizer will receive and may use the information you provide in accordance with their own policies.

Email Confirmations & Transactional Messages

As part of your ticketing transaction with BigLife, we may email confirmations and instructions on retrieving tickets or accessing events.

Google API Limited Use

The App’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How We Use Personal Data

  • Specific purpose: To fulfill the purpose for which data was provided (e.g., responding to support requests).
  • Access & use: To provide and operate the Services and features you request, and to analyze usage.
  • Internal business purposes: To improve content and functionality; understand Users; protect against wrongdoing; enforce our Terms; manage accounts; provide support; and operate our business.
  • BigLife marketing: We may use your data for our marketing and advertising (email/SMS/display/CTV, etc.) and sometimes on behalf of Organizers where permitted.
  • Interest-based insights: We may infer interests to personalize recommendations and advertising (including aggregated insights).
  • Other purposes with notice/consent: If we intend to use data in a way not covered here, we will inform you or seek consent as required.

How We Disclose or Transfer Personal Data

We do not sell your Personal Data. However, we may share it as described below:

  • Business transfers: In a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or similar event, Personal Data may be transferred as part of the transaction (including due diligence).
  • Affiliates: With parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates consistent with this Policy.
  • Agents & service providers: With contractors/service providers (marketing, ads, data services, hosting, backup, email, payments, support) who process data for us.
  • Organizers: When you register/engage with an Organizer, they receive the information you provide; they may contact you per their own privacy policies.
  • Social & third-party integrations: If you connect accounts (e.g., Facebook/Google) or interact with plug-ins, data may flow to/from those services under their policies.
  • Legal requirements: To comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.

Data Storage & Security

We may store Personal Data ourselves or via third parties consistent with this Policy. We take reasonable measures to protect data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please take care when sharing information online.

Your Rights & Choices

  • Access/Update/Delete: If you have an account, you may access, edit, or delete certain Personal Data via your account settings, or contact support@big-life.org.
  • Organizer copies: If BigLife deletes/anonymizes your data, Organizers may still hold copies previously shared with them.
  • Retention: We retain Personal Data while you use the Services and as permitted/required by law (including backups/archives for legal or business purposes).
  • Limit data you provide: You can use parts of the Services without providing Personal Data, but certain features (e.g., purchases) require it.
  • Marketing opt-out: You can unsubscribe via links in our marketing emails/SMS. Organizer emails also include their own unsubscribe links.
  • Transactional emails: You will still receive essential transactional or responsive communications (e.g., tickets, receipts, support replies).
  • Do Not Track: We currently do not respond to DNT signals.

Exclusions & Third-Party Links

This Policy does not apply to information you provide to others via the Services (e.g., on Organizer pages) or to third-party websites linked from the Services. Review those sites’ policies directly.

Children

We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under thirteen (13). If you believe a child has provided Personal Data, contact us and we will attempt to delete it.

International Users

If you access the Services from outside your country, you acknowledge that data may be transferred to and processed in other countries, which may have different data protection laws. Our processing will remain governed by this Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy from time to time. We will post updates with the “Updated” date above. Changes take effect thirty (30) days after posting unless stated otherwise. Your continued use after changes become effective indicates acceptance. If you do not accept changes, stop using the Services.
